1. Automatic Allocation
The moment you access FastTempBox, a randomized local address (such as k8x4p7@fasttempbox.com) is minted alongside a private cryptographic session token stored only in your browser's local storage.
2. Real-Time Ingestion
When an external sender transmits a message, our mail server receives the SMTP payload, verifies validity, sanitizes malicious HTML scripts, and pushes the message to your screen via real-time sync.
3. Complete Self-Destruction
Every mailbox features an active countdown timer (default 10 minutes). Once expired, all message headers, bodies, recipient records, and attachments are wiped permanently from disk.
Behind the Scenes: The Security & Ingestion Architecture
Unlike simplistic mail forwarders, FastTempBox uses an isolated receive-only architecture:
- MIME Header Parsing: Incoming emails are decoded to extract the true recipient address, sender information, and subject line.
- Script & Tracker Sanitization: All HTML content is parsed through strict sanitization filters that strip inline JavaScript, tracker beacons, suspicious iframes, and phishing vectors.
- Sandboxed Preview: Emails are rendered inside an isolated iframe with origin sandboxing to prevent cross-site execution.
- Attachment Security: Dangerous executable files (.exe, .bat, .sh, .vbs) are automatically blocked, allowing only verified documents and images.
